Quality and durability are the center of our design and production process

We offer a 5-year warranty (please read the terms of 5 years warranty below) on all designs and a lifetime warranty on slats and gears on all sofa beds in the Multifunctionals category.

Our sofa beds are made to last, designed and manufactured with longevity in mind. To ensure the quality of our products, we do not compromise on materials nor processes and conduct systematic testing of raw materials as well as the finished products before they leave our factories.

Undoubtedly, sofa beds are often perceived to be of poor quality and design. At Innovation Living, we challenge conventions by rethinking how a sofa bed should look. We push the boundaries to innovate compact living. The result is a line of bold, original designs that encompass what Danish Design is renowned for: Simplicity, functionality, comfort, and quality.

Our functional parts are based on carefully tested mechanisms and the knowledge we have established since we started designing and producing sofa beds in 1989. As all sofa beds are produced at our factories, we benefit from being able to directly control and assure our strict quality standards. In addition to our high internal standards, and to ensure we comply with the highest industry standards, we continuously subject ourselves to external audits of our manufacturing facilities.

What is covered under this 5 year warranty?

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the following components of the sofa beds and chairs:

  • Gears and mechanisms
  • Wooden frames
  • Metal frames
  • Spring, latex, or foam cores of sofa beds and chairs

**This warranty applies to private/residential use only.

What is not covered under this warranty?

This warranty does not apply to products that have been stored or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or cleaning products.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, fabric pilling, fabric fading, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents.

This warranty does not apply if the product has been placed outdoors or exposed directly to environmental elements. 

This warranty does not cover consequential or accidental damage.

Warranties are not transferable and apply strictly to the purchaser of the product from Innovation Living Melbourne. 

What will Innovation Living Melbourne do to correct the problem?

The quality department of Innovation Living will examine the claim and decide, at its sole discretion, if it is covered by the warranty the appropriate fix or replacement will be arranged. 

If the claim is covered by the warranty, Innovation Living Melbourne will cover the costs of spare parts or provide an equivalent replacement, if the item is no longer available. Most of our sofas are sold in separate parts, and we will do our utmost to limit replacements to the relevant parts due to both environmental and economic concerns.

How to make a claim for warranty?

If you believe that the product you purchased from Innovation Living Melbourne to be faulty, please contact our Carlton North flagship showroom. You can reach us at info@innovationsofabeds.com.au.

You'll initially be asked to include the following via email:

  1. Order Number
  2. Contact Details
  3. A description of why you believe your product is defective
  4. Images/videos demonstrating the fault
  5. An image of the product's production number

While the faults investigation process can take some time to work through, we aim to make this process as stress free as possible. Once we have received all the images/videos we require, we will make a determination as to how to resolve the issue.
